  • Cutting and replacing jamb bottoms requires tools and competency in basic carpentry. Before ordering, verify with a tape measure the jamb width you need. We offer two sizes, so the width you need is either 4 9/16 in or 6 9/16 in. Next measure how much rot needs to be replaced on your jambs. BOSS-Rx Door Frame Rot Repair Kits replace up to 8 in. of rot on each of your jamb bottoms. Our added lap joints and 5 degree sill cuts simplify installation, provide greater strength, and are highly tolerant to adjustment if you don't manage to make a perfectly straight cut on your jambs. Solid PVC construction won't absorb water, rot, warp or split.
